No degree is required to become a manager at Mcdonalds but getting one helps to beat the competition and you will likely need a high school diploma to have a good chance of getting the job. You will also need to frequently attend seminars, training classes, and conventions. Most states also require restaurant managers to get a Food Safety Certificate.
